Except for recognized holidays, Whitehouse Group meetings are offered Monday through Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Meetings are not held on these holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.
The meetings are Open and nonsmoking. In accordance with the Preamble of Alcoholics Anonymous, participants share their experience, strength, and hope that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. Nonalcoholics interested in AA are welcome.
Except for the last Friday of each month, we have Discussion meetings centered on the daily topic from AA's Daily Reflections. Every member has an opportunity to join the discussion. Unless it falls on a recognized holiday, the meeting of the last Friday of the month is a Speaker meetings. If the last Friday of the month is a recognized holiday, the Speaker Meeting is on the preceding Friday. At the Speaker meetings, invited speakers share their experience, strength, and hope with the group.
